GIANT DINOSAURUS IN VOLOS

An exciting experience!

From December 3rd, 2019 until January 7th, 2020 the Municipality of Volos invites you on a different Christmas journey through time and gives you the unique opportunity to get to know the exciting world of Dinosaurs.

Following huge success in Greece and Cyprus, this fascinating exhibition travels to Volos and is a unique opportunity for an adventurous exploration of the prehistoric dinosaur world.
Getting to know the giant dinosaurs that dominated the Earth during the Middle Ages is not just about simply exploring and touring a natural environment museum with huge exhibits, plants and fossils. Contact through movement and touch will lead children together with adults into a unique, interactive and fun game.
The design of this park goes beyond the mere presentation of heroes, names, images, stories and scenery and goes through a coherent experience. Young and old visitors will get to know the huge and beloved dinosaurs, as never before, through books, movies, fairy tales, cartoons, shows and comics. From the beginning to the end of the theme park the visitor will watch, interact and take part in a journey in the dinosaur era.
It is essentially an experiential experience that the public will have in order to complete the visit, to have a strong feeling that they have experienced and learned many interesting, new and important things.
12 spectacular huge exhibits will attract the attention of visitors, making us feel awe, but also gratitude that we did not live with them in primitive times!
A thematic exhibition with prestige, as it has the very “heavy” signature and curation of Daming Zhong, a leading paleontologist who has designed the exhibition based on his experience as a paleontologist at the Museum of Zingong, the 3rd largest dinosaur museum in the world.
With an entrance fee of just 2€, a visit to the theme park is a part of Volos Municipality’s social policy, which aims to enable all social groups to participate in quality entertainment activities and festive optimism.
