VOLOS: THE FESTIVAL CITY WITH THE BLUE SKY
Kilometers of lighting are installed on the city’s main shopping streets so as the magical effect of Blue Sky to be created. Dimitriados Street, Iasonos Street, Eirinis Avenue, vertical and parallel to the main beach roads are covered by blue lights and a unique festive climate is created.
Elegant lighting fixtures, epistolary lamps, majestic Christmas balls, Christmas trees are placed on streets, squares and corners of the city and suburbs, creating a unique for the Greek data festive atmosphere.
Residents and visitors of the city experience the unique experience of exploring a multi-kilometer shopping center that creates a sense of magic and fantasy. Decorated in the center of the beach looms the mythical Argo, the ship-symbol of the city, whose presence connects the past with the present of Volos and represents its cultural identity and heritage.
In the Town Hall area, the imposingly tall Christmas tree and the Santa Claus’s sled, which is high above the ground give the illusion of a Santa’s visit to the city and impress young and old. The aesthetic effect of this area is enhanced by the adornment of the masts of the yachts, which are hosted in this part of the port and in conjunction with the ornate Town Hall, a stunning Christmas landscape is created.
